Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan in Kinnegad seeks a Senior Engineer to oversee on-site engineering activities, ensure works meet project specs, quality standards and programme. You will coordinate site teams, manage technical aspects, and support successful delivery of construction works.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, controlling setting-out, coordinating subcontractors and liaising with managers and consultants to resolve issues while ensuring health and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• Past Senior Engineer experience in construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods.
• Experience managing setting-out and site coordination.
• Ability to interpret drawings and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisation.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Manage setting-out activities and ensure accuracy across works.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain progress.
• Monitor quality control and ensure works meet project specifications.
