Job summary

Glenveagh Properties PLC is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join our North County Dublin teams. You will check plans, monitor design documents, and liaise with consultants and subcontractors to ensure accurate execution of works.

The role requires setting out using Total Station and GPS, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
• Significant experience as a Senior Site Engineer with a Developer or Main Contractor.
• Strong setting out experience using equipment such as Total Station and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce.
• Setting out using a variety of instruments as chosen by the company.
• Supervise and monitor subcontractors work.
• Report progress of works to Package Manager and highlight any issues.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Quality management and BCAR co-ordination.
• Adhere to planning, health and safety and environmental standards.
• Weekly and monthly reporting of data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners.
