Job summary

Glenveagh Properties is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a residential project in Dunboyne, Meath. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage key stakeholders, and ensure work is delivered to program, on budget, and to the highest safety standards.

The role requires a degree or equivalent qualification with substantial site experience in residential developments, and a strong sense of ownership and initiative to drive site performance and quality.

Qualifications

  • Degree or higher qualification in a relevant field; trade experience acceptable.
  • Significant site management experience on residential projects is essential.
  • Background in residential developments is essential.
  • Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
  • Strong ownership and responsibility for tasks; accurate and methodical work.
  • Ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the project on time and within budget by overseeing risks, contracts, operations and communications.
  • Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of a large-scale residential site.
  • Review high-level deliverables across the site.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures per company methodology.
  • Manage project scope and mitigate risk across projects.
  • Attend Health and Safety meetings with site team and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy on site.
  • Identify and order materials in line with the program.
  • Lead and coordinate performance and budgets with the contract program.
  • Manage direct labour workforce and all sub-contractors.
  • Collaborate with and lead the site management team.

Right now, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our residential project in Dunboyne, Meath.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget as agreed by effectively and appropriately overseeing all issues surrounding risks, contracts, operations and communications
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of a large-scale site
  • Review high-level deliverables across site
  • Implement quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology
  • Manage project scope and mitigates risk across projects
  • Attend Health and Safety meetings with site team and subcontractors
  • Ensure that everyone on site is working in accordance with the Health & Safety policy and procedures
  • Ensure that all required materials are identified and ordered in a timely fashion in line with the program
  • Take the lead in ensuring the effective management of performance and budgets, ensuring they are well-coordinated and runs in accordance with the agreed contract program
  • Manage a direct labour workforce
  • Manage all sub-contractors
  • Work with and manage the site management team
Requirements
  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
  • Significant site management experience on residential projects
  • Background in residential developments essential
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
