Job summary

TalentCru is recruiting a Site Engineer for a high-profile RC frame apartment development in Dundalk, Co. Louth.

You will deliver setting out for RC frames, foundations, columns, walls, cores and slabs, from foundations to completion, ensuring accuracy and build quality. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and proven multi-storey RC frame experience, with proficiency in Leica or Trimble Total Stations and EDM software.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 24 years as a Site Engineer on multi-storey residential or commercial RC frame projects.
• Equipment: Highly proficient with Leica or Trimble Total Stations and EDM software.

Responsibilities

• Setting Out: Deliver precise setting out for RC frames, foundations, columns, walls, cores, and slabs.
• Technical Oversight: Supervise daily engineering operations, ensuring alignment with construction drawings.
• Coordination: Liaise between site management, design teams, and subcontractors for smooth workflows.
• Quality Assurance: Manage QA/QC processes to guarantee strict compliance with Irish Building Regulations.
• Programme Planning: Assist in sequencing RC frame works to meet or exceed project milestones.
• Documentation: Create and manage accurate site records, total station data, and as-built surveys.
• Problem Solving: Resolve technical queries and engineering bottlenecks quickly on-site.
• Safety Culture: Champion rigorous health, safety, and environmental standards across the project.
