Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join its Dublin-based projects. You will assist with setting out, surveying, and interpreting drawings while supporting Site Managers and Senior Engineers on RC and concrete structural works.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree or diploma and 1–2 years’ site experience; graduates with placement experience are welcome. The role covers South & West Dublin and offers €40k+ depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of site experience preferred.
• Graduate engineers with placement experience considered.
• Interest in RC frames, formwork and structural works.
• Good understanding of construction drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.
• Supporting Site Managers and Senior Engineers.
• Supervising subcontractors.
• Monitoring reinforced concrete and structural works.
• Carrying out quality checks and site inspections.
• Assisting with technical queries and site documentation.
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification.
