Tines is hiring a Senior Security Operations Engineer to grow our security program in a remote Ireland role. You’ll drive security projects, perform reviews of infrastructure and product features, and scale detection and response across our cloud environments and corporate endpoints.

You’ll lead vulnerability remediation with engineering and security teams, conduct security training for employees, hunt for threats, and act as escalation point for automated detections.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in a security role with cloud experience.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience implementing controls for SOC2, ISO, CMMC, FedRAMP.
• Automating security tasks with Python or Go.

Responsabilités

• Drive security projects protecting customers and employees.
• Review and implement security controls based on trends and incidents.
• Perform security reviews of infrastructure and product features.
• Maintain high security standards and update policies accordingly.
• Scale detection and response across environments.
• Lead vulnerability remediation with Eng/Infra/Sec teams.
• Conduct security training for employees.
• Act as escalation point for automated detections.
• Proactively hunt for threats across the environment.
• Perform on-call duties including incident commander during security incidents.
• Ensure controls are deployed and tested in cloud and endpoints.
• Automate as much as possible using Tines.
