Tines is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to lead security initiatives across our cloud footprint. You will design and implement controls, perform threat hunts, and drive vulnerability remediation while collaborating with engineering, infrastructure and security teams.

The role requires strong cloud security expertise, experience with AWS services and security tools, and hands-on automation using Python/Go and SOAR platforms. A fast-paced environment and on-call duties are expected.

Qualificações

• 6–8+ years in a security role managing complex cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Deep familiarity with cloud security, including deploying, managing, securing, and monitoring services in AWS.
• Familiarity with securing container technologies like Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Skilled in the use of AWS security management and monitoring tools such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Security Hub, Inspector, and Config.
• Experience with implementing and monitoring controls around security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO, CMMC, and FedRamp.
• Background of automating security tasks with SOAR tools and/or languages like Python/Go.
• Knowledge of command-line, log analysis, common attacks, and OS hardening for Linux and macOS.
• Experience working on an on-call rotation in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical & time management skills with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively with peers.

Responsabilidades

• Drive security projects that protect customers, brand and employees.
• Review security trends and incidents to prevent repeats by applying new controls.
• Perform security reviews of infrastructure and product features to maintain high standards.
• Update policies and procedures to sustain top security.
• Scale detection and response capabilities across environments and systems.
• Drive vulnerability remediation with engineering, infrastructure and security teams.
• Assist with security training to keep employees updated on threats.
• Act as escalation point for automated detections.
• Proactively hunt for threats across the environment.
• Perform regular on-call duties including incident commander responsibilities.
• Ensure security controls are deployed and tested across cloud environments and endpoints.
• Automate as much as possible using Tines.
