Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland seeks a seasoned Scrum Master to enable Agile delivery across complex technology teams. You will partner with Product Owners, delivery teams and stakeholders to improve backlog readiness, sprint planning and delivery predictability.

The role focuses on removing impediments, using metrics to drive improvement and coaching teams toward higher performance. Applicants must have Scrum Master certification and right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a Scrum Master in complex Agile delivery environments.
Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile practices, backlog refinement, sprint planning and DoR/DoD.
Proven ability to manage impediments, risks and dependencies across teams.
Certification in Scrum/Agile training and experience with Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
Work with Product Owners and teams to improve backlog readiness and sprint goals.
Identify impediments, risks and dependencies; ensure they are visible and addressed.
Use delivery metrics to highlight trends and support decision-making.
Coach teams toward higher delivery discipline and continuous improvement.
