Job summary

Abbott in Ireland is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the RTR team, supporting European markets with outsourced partners and reporting to the RTR Manager. The role is based in the Shared Services Centre in Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin, offering cross-functional collaboration and opportunities to drive process improvements.

The successful candidate should be part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA), possess strong Excel skills, and have experience in a multinational SSC

Qualifications

• Part qualified with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA
• Experience in SSC or multinational environment preferred
• Strong initiative for change and process improvements

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close for US GAAP
• Prepare reconciliations and journals
• Complete SOX controls
• Collaborate with outsourced partner
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and assist audits
• Identify process improvements
