Job summary
Wellington Professional Recruitment seeks a Senior Resident Engineer for a major wastewater treatment plant upgrade project in Clones, Monaghan. You will oversee construction, liaise with Uisce Éireann, contractors and design teams, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in civil engineering with wastewater experience and a relevant degree.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' civil engineering experience with wastewater projects.
- Proven experience as Resident/Senior Engineer or site supervision on upgrades.
- Third-level qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction phase of wastewater treatment plant upgrade works.
- Act as site supervision representative ensuring quality and safety.
- Coordinate with Uisce Éireann, contractors, and design teams.
- Monitor compliance with technical specs, contracts and regulations.
- Promote high health, safety and environmental standards on site.
- Assist planning of shutdowns, tie-ins, commissioning and readiness.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and client liaison throughout.
