Job summary

Wellington Professional Recruitment is seeking a Civil Resident Engineer - Wastewater for Fingal to oversee construction, upgrade and rehabilitation of wastewater networks and pumping stations. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate with UE, Local Authorities and design teams, and ensure compliance with contractual and HSQE requirements.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering projects (wastewater or water infrastructure).
• Strong knowledge of wastewater networks and rehabilitation techniques.
• Proven ability to prepare clear technical reports and maintain project records.
• Solid understanding of HSQE regulations and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a major wastewater network rehabilitation scheme.
• Coordinate with regional contractors, Local Authorities, UE and design teams.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project records and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and manage snagging through to project sign-off.
• Provide regular progress updates to regional management and UE representatives.
• Plan and attend project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Address queries or issues professionally and ensure contractual compliance.
