Job summary

Oracle SA in Ireland seeks a Senior Resident Engineer/Associate to lead supervision, administration and delivery of civil and structural infrastructure on site, ensuring compliance with Employer’s Requirements, contractual obligations and programme.

You will coordinate with the Employer’s Representative, Design Team, Client, Contractor and Local Authorities to ensure works are delivered to specification and safety standards, with regular progress reporting and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• A Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• 10+ years post-graduate engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervision and administration of civil and structural works on site.
• Ensure Contractor fulfils contractual obligations and complies with Employer’s Requirements.
• Coordinate with Employer’s Representative, Design Team, Client, Contractor and Local Authorities.
• Monitor, inspect and report on progress, quality and compliance.
• Contribute to contract administration and technical/contractual matters.
• Prepare regular site progress reports focusing on quality, programme and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work regulations.
• Review method statements and engineering proposals for compliance.
• Maintain site records, diaries and reports.
• Identify issues, assess risks and provide technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver major infrastructure projects.
