Job summary

Oracle SA is seeking a Chartered Engineer to lead Civil/Structural site works on major infrastructure projects in Ireland. The role requires coordinating with the Employer's Representative, design teams, and local authorities to ensure quality, safety, and programme adherence.

Ideal candidate will have 6+ years post-graduate experience, with at least 5 years as a Resident Engineer under Public Works Contracts in Ireland, and a strong grasp of contract administration and site reporting.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 6 years post-graduate experience, with at least 5 years as a Resident Engineer in Ireland under Public Works Contracts.
• Relevant site experience supervising large infrastructure works.
• Experience assisting in administering contracts.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and administration of all civil/structural construction works on site.
• Supervision of works instructions from Employer's Representative, Design Team, Client and Local Authority.
• Monitor, measure, inspect and report on works to Employer's Requirements.
• Assist Employer’s Representative in technical and contractual matters.
• Prepare regular site progress reports focusing on quality and programme.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) regulations.
• Review method statements and contractor proposals for compliance.
• Keep comprehensive records/diary of work in progress.
