ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established engineering consultancy, for a Resident Engineer to join its site team in Dublin. The role involves supervising civil infrastructure works, monitoring quality and progress on site, and supporting the Employer’s Representative on technical and contractual matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' site experience supervising civil infrastructure works.
• Experience assisting with construction contract administration.
• Good knowledge of construction health and safety legislation.
• Current Safe Pass and other relevant safety qualifications.
• Strong written communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works to meet the Employer’s Requirements.

• Monitor contractor delivery against design information, instructions and programme requirements.
• Review method statements and engineering proposals for compliance.
• Assist Employer’s Representative with technical queries and contract administration.

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established engineering consultancy, for a Resident Engineer to join its site team in Dublin.

This role will suit an engineer with experience supervising major infrastructure works who is confident monitoring construction quality, maintaining site records and supporting the Employer’s Representative on technical and contractual matters.

Role

• Supervise civil and structural works to ensure they meet the Employer’s Requirements.
• Inspect, measure and report on the quality and progress of works on site.
• Monitor the contractor’s delivery against design information, instructions and programme requirements.
• Review method statements and engineering proposals for compliance with the Works Requirements.
• Assist the Employer’s Representative with technical queries and contract administration.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain a comprehensive site diary and records.
• Liaise with the contractor, design team, client, local authority and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ relevant site experience supervising civil infrastructure works.
• Experience assisting with construction contract administration.
• Good knowledge of construction health and safety legislation.
• A current Safe Pass and other relevant safety qualifications.
• Strong written communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working as part of a site team and using standard computer applications.
