Job summary

Fehily Timoney and Company is seeking a Senior or Principal Engineer to join the Sustainable Infrastructure team with a focus on renewables projects. The role is based in Cork, Carlow or Dublin and offers exposure to wind farms, solar farms and BESS projects, including design, ICF, design-build and owners engineer roles.

The successful candidate will have leadership ability, broad experience in infrastructure schemes and the drive to advance towards Associate and Director positions within a

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• 8 years post-graduate experience for Senior or 12 years for Principal.
• Experience delivering infrastructure schemes in Ireland or the UK.
• Renewables project experience (wind/solar/BESS) is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver projects on time, to quality and budget.
• Supervise and mentor senior and junior staff within Sustainable Infrastructure.
• Prepare designs, technical reports and tender documents for renewables projects.
• Plan and manage design work with discipline leads and technicians.
• Ensure QA and health & safety compliance across projects.
• Coordinate work with other project team members and clients.
