Job summary

Fehily Timoney & Company Ltd. seeks a Senior Engineer to join the Energy team, supporting renewable energy projects across Ireland. The role involves project management, environmental assessments, and preliminary design for wind, solar, and other renewables.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage design work, and contribute to Ireland’s sustainable energy transition.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience in managing the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects is advantageous but not essential.
• Highly motivated professional with strong energy and drive.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical abilities.
• Proven experience liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Adaptable and collaborative team player.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets set with the client.
• Oversee and coordinate the preparation of CAD design documentation, collaborating closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
• Participate in on-site meetings with clients and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain adherence to internal Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
• Ensure activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the project team to ensure seamless project delivery.
