Magic Media is seeking a Senior Real-Time VFX Artist to contribute to an unannounced AAA title on a fully remote basis. Lead real-time VFX creation, shader work, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a global studio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in the video game industry with at least one shipped AAA title.
• Expert-level knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity (Niagara or Shuriken/VFX Graph).

Responsibilities

• Real-time execution: create visually stunning, consistent effects in a proprietary engine.
• Asset authoring: develop VFX assets, textures, meshes, and shaders from scratch.
• Shader development: build complex shaders using node-based editors or code to realize effects.
