Job summary

VOID Interactive Ltd is seeking a Senior Graphics Engineer to advance core engine, rendering, and graphics systems in Unreal Engine 5. You will collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to deliver high-performance visuals across platforms.

You will lead feature ownership from design through implementation in a remote-first, globally distributed team. Deep knowledge of real-time rendering, DirectX12/Vulkan, and GPU performance is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong C++ and math skills.
• Experience shipping at least one AAA console title.
• Recent professional experience working with Unreal Engine.
• Deep understanding of real-time rendering techniques, rendering pipelines, shaders, GPU/CPU architecture, and GPU performance.
• Familiarity with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan) and tools like RenderDoc or PIX.
• Strong debugging, optimisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design and implement robust rendering and graphics systems across platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of core engine, rendering, and graphics systems in Unreal Engine 5 across platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement features supporting gameplay and content creation.
• Partner with technical artists and content teams to identify bottlenecks and scalable solutions.
• Own graphic performance and optimization strategy and establish best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Serve as a technical advisor for complex graphics features and tradeoffs.
• Work with production to estimate, plan, and deliver engineering work.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and long-term project goals.
