Job summary

WSP is seeking a RAMS leader to manage RAM processes per EN 50126 and to lead a RAM/Safety engineering team. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and guide bids, advisory work, and strategic decisions while mentoring junior RAM members.

You will promote innovation, adopt new techniques, and strengthen client relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners, contributing to WSP's technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical engineering discipline or extensive relevant experience.
• RAM engineering experience; rail knowledge desirable.
• Corporate membership with a professional institution (e.g. SaRS, IET, IMechE).
• Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer or on track toward it.
• Ability to deliver RAM activities and lead RAM/Safety engineers.
• Experience liaising with regulatory and independent bodies.
• Extensive EN 50126 knowledge and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage RAM processes per sector standards (e.g. EN 50126).
• Lead RAM team, plan activities and manage sub-contractors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders.
• Support bids, advisory work, and strategic decisions.
• Mentor junior RAM members as technical focal point.
• Promote innovation and new tools to improve efficiency.
• Promote the WSP brand with industry partners and institutions.
