Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience on commercial projects, preferably in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess project potential and financial viability.
• Oversee procurement by valuing tenders, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and manage variations through the life cycle.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports of project costs, budgets, and performance.
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure delivery.
• Advise on contractual claims, disputes, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for construction activities.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
