Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is seeking seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyors for permanent roles based in Limerick and surrounding region. You'll join a portfolio spanning building, civil engineering and specialist contracting projects.

Key duties include commercial management, budgeting, procurement, valuations and final accounts, with mentoring for junior staff. Excellent salaries (€80k-€100k+ DOE), company vehicle or travel allowance, pension and bonus potential on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 6+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience in building, civils or specialist contracting.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing projects or large commercial packages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Valid working rights in Ireland.

SSA is recruiting Senior Quantity Surveyors on behalf of a number of established contractors for permanent positions based in Limerick and the surrounding region.

About the role:

I am currently working with several companies across the main building, civil engineering and specialist contracting sectors who are looking to strengthen their commercial teams with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Full commercial management of construction projects
• Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts and monthly cost reports
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Managing valuations, variations and final accounts
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project teams
• Mentoring junior members of the commercial team
• Ensuring strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle
