Job summary

Ratio Recruitment is helping a fast-growing residential developer in South Dublin to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Senior Management team. The role is hybrid with one day of remote work and the rest split between head office and projects, with an opportunity to grow the Commercial team.

The successful candidate will oversee tender preparation, bills of quantities, payments, cashflows, change control and project cost forecasting, while staying contractually astute and commercially

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QS role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bill of Quantities, tender specs and documents.
• Prepare pre-bid queries and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Produce monthly value cost reconciliations and forecasting reports.
• Prepare and agree monthly project payment claims.
• Prepare internal and external project cashflow information.
• Change control including change identification and negotiation.
• Identify and quantify the effects of delay and disruption on projects.
• Monitor all ongoing commercial aspects during the project.
• Compile and issue Subcontracts.

My client is a fast growing residential developer based in South Dublin. They have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Senior Management team. There is a small management team in place at present which is going to expand in the coming months and years as they continue to grow.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow their own Commercial team within the business. This role is hybrid with one day of remote working and the other days split between head office and projects as required.

Duties:

• Preparation Of Bill of Quantity, Tender Specification and Tender Document
• Preparing Pre-Bid Queries & Attending Pre-Bid Meetings
• Production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports.
• Preparation and agreement of monthly project Payment Claims.
• Preparation of Internal and External Project Cashflow information.
• Change Control including change identification and negotiation.
• Identifying and quantifying the effects of Delay and Disruption on projects.
• Monitoring all ongoing commercial aspects during the course of the project.
• Administering the provisions ... in respect to notifications.
• Compiling and Issuing Subcontracts

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a QS role
• Contractually and commercially astute
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• IT Literate
