Job summary

Elite Talent Hub is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international contractor’s commercial team in Kildare, Ireland. The role is hybrid with one day weekly in the office.

Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates and tender submissions for large civil projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure accurate, competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and attention to detail for cost estimation and value engineering.
• Experience preparing tender submissions and Bills of Quantities for civil/infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with NEC or other standard forms of contract; reading drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender pricing and BOQ for civil/infrastructure projects from bid to contract award.
• Review tender docs, drawings and specs to understand scope, risk and buildability.
• Obtain/assess quotations from subcontractors to build competitive tenders.
• Coordinate with commercial, design and operations teams to reflect construction methodology.
• Identify commercial risks/opportunities and present tender submissions with qualifications.
