Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to contribute to residential and commercial construction projects in Ireland. You will prepare tenders, analyse subcontracts, and manage financial and commercial aspects up to final account.

Strong report writing experience and collaboration with site management is required; protecting entitlement on projects is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential/commercial construction projects.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate subcontractors, negotiation & finalise subcontract orders, financial & commercial management of subcontractors to Final Account completion.
• Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control.
• Liaising with & commercially influence/challenge site management team whilst maintaining & protecting JSS commercial & contractual entitlement.
• Managing & overseeing AQS & TQS, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues.
