Responsibilities

• Prepare and agree on budgets and variation costs.
• Check project costs and resolve any queries.
• Attend pre-contract meetings and coordinate actions with the project team.
• Prepare procurement schedules and tender packages.
• Review subcontractor quotes and place orders.
• Measure and value works on site.
• Process subcontractor payments.
• Produce cost reports and forecasts for management.
• Support contract and site teams to keep projects running smoothly.
• Help mentor and develop junior surveyors.

Inform3 is currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering / infrastructure projects to join our client’s commercial team based in Mallow.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS who enjoys managing the commercial side of projects from start to finish — from early cost planning right through to final accounts.

The Role

• Working closely with clients, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Managing contracts and commercial relationships
• Preparing and agreeing budgets and variation costs
• Checking project costs and resolving any queries
• Attending pre-contract meetings and coordinating actions with the wider project team
• Preparing procurement schedules and tender packages
• Reviewing subcontractor quotes and placing orders
• Measuring and valuing works on site
• Processing subcontractor payments
• Producing cost reports and forecasts for management
• Supporting contract and site teams to keep projects running smoothly
• Helping to mentor and develop junior surveyors
