Job summary

Medtronic in Ireland seeks an experienced Senior Engineering Supervisor, Quality Control Pharma Laboratory, to lead QC testing, laboratory operations, and batch release support for pharmaceutical combination products. You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline with 3+ years of pharmaceutical QC lab experience including supervisory responsibilities
• Knowledge of cGMP, USP, FDA guidance, and ICH guidelines in a regulated pharma environment
• Experience with lab documentation practices, data integrity, and Quality Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QC laboratory operations and ensure regulatory and company compliance
• Develop and coach QC personnel through training and performance management
• Ensure testing activities, raw data, records and results are accurate, documented, and reported on time
• Support production schedules and batch release planning to enable continuity
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing and cross-functional partners to maintain QMS compliance
• Promote adherence to cGMP, GLP, safety and housekeeping standards
• Drive lab process improvements and scientific studies to boost efficiency and quality
• Support method development, validation and transfer activities across labs
