Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Engineering Supervisor, Quality Control Pharma Laboratory to lead QC testing, oversee laboratory operations, and ensure regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical combination products. You will guide a team, manage data integrity, and support timely batch releases.

You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices across the lab while ensuring safety and adherence to GMP/GLP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/related science field and 3+ years in pharmaceutical QC labs or an advanced degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting QC testing and lab operations in regulated pharma environments.
• Familiarity with cGMP, USP, FDA guidelines, and ICH guidance; data integrity practices and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Quality Control laboratory operations in a cGMP-compliant environment.
• Lead and develop QC lab personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Ensure raw data, laboratory records, and analytical results are accurate, documented, and reported on time.
• Support production schedules and batch release activities to enable timely releases and continuity.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing and cross-functional partners to maintain QMS compliance.
• Promote adherence to GMP, GLP, safety, housekeeping, and security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in laboratory processes and scientific studies.
