Job summary

NTT DATA in Ireland is seeking a Senior QA Manager to lead an AML regulatory transformation programme and drive end-to-end test strategy across digital, data, cloud, and core banking platforms.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Risk and Security teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC and support digital transformation objectives, delivering high-quality releases at scale.

Role Overview

The Senior QA Manager will lead an AML regulatory transformation programme. The role requires experience driving test initiatives from scratch for a large-scale banking transformation/regulatory programme with experience creating and executing an end-to-end enterprise level test strategy. This role is responsible for establishing QA strategies, driving test automation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing high-performing QA teams to deliver quality at scale across digital, data, cloud, and core banking platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Risk, Security, and Business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and support the digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities QA Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide QA and testing strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.

Test Management & Delivery

• Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and release readiness activities.
• Ensure effective coverage across:

• Manage quality assurance activities across multiple concurrent programmes and projects.

Automation & DevOps

• Partner with engineering teams to implement shift-left testing practices.
• Evaluate and implement modern QA tools and frameworks.

Risk, Security & Compliance

• Ensure testing practices meet banking regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Information Security teams.
• Support audit requirements and maintain testing governance documentation.
• Ensure robust controls around quality, data integrity, and security.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting on quality metrics, risks, test progress, and release readiness.
• Drive decision-making through data-driven insights and quality dashboards.
• Present testing strategies and outcomes to executive leadership.
