Job summary

NTT DATA North America in Dublin is seeking an experienced AI Banking Practice Lead to drive AI-led transformation across Banking and Financial Services. The role combines deep banking expertise with hands-on AI delivery, thought leadership, client engagement, business development, and team leadership.

You will lead AI strategy and implementation programs for banking clients, mentor consultants and architects, develop executive materials, and build trusted CXO relationships while scaling AI

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Banking & Financial Services.
• Hands-on AI/ML/GenAI delivery experience.
• Deep understanding of retail, commercial, corporate, or investment banking processes.
• Experience leading large transformation programs and distributed teams.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Proven success in business development, client acquisition, and account growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI strategy, advisory, and implementation programs for banking and financial services clients.
• Provide thought leadership on Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and Responsible AI.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI and banking trends; translate market developments into client opportunities and new offerings.
• Drive AI-focused business development by identifying opportunities, creating proposals, and supporting pursuits.
• Develop executive presentations, POVs, whitepapers, and solution assets.
• Build and maintain strong CXO/client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams and mentor AI consultants and architects.
• Work hands-on with AI solution design, use-case prioritization, and implementation oversight.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to scale AI capabilities and practice growth.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Banking & Financial Services.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering AI/ML/GenAI initiatives.
• Deep understanding of retail, commercial, corporate, or investment banking processes.
• Experience leading large transformation programs and distributed teams.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and account growth.
• Knowledge of AI governance, compliance, risk, and regulatory considerations.
