Job summary

Partner Company seeks a Senior QA Chapter Lead to shape QA strategy while remaining hands-on within a squad. You will drive automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels and own the Definition of Done quality gate in releases.

You will define QA standards, tooling, and testing practices across engineering, collaborating with Product Owners and Tech Leads in an Agile setup. Strong backend/API testing experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software QA experience, including at least 2 years in a Lead QA role.
• Strong automation engineering skills and production-quality test code.
• Deep experience with API testing (REST, contracts, integration).
• Proven experience defining and maintaining QA standards in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed as senior QA engineer within one squad and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Define acceptance criteria with Product Owners before sprints.
• Design and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Own the squad’s Definition of Done quality gate for releases.
• Define QA standards across engineering, including CI quality gates.
• Lead onboarding and establish baseline QA expectations for new engineers.
• Lead a monthly QA Guild to align standards across engineering.
• Evaluate and document QA automation frameworks and tools.
