Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Middle to Senior Python Developer based in Ireland. You will design and evolve high-performance backend systems using a Python/Django stack, contributing to production reliability and scalable services.

This role combines hands-on development with architectural decision-making and collaboration within an international team, offering opportunities for growth and exposure to payments integrations and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and Django.
• Experience designing scalable, highly loaded systems.
• Understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Intermediate English or higher for international collaboration.
• Experience in the iGaming or sports betting industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
• Ability to break down large tasks into actionable components.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Make architectural and technical decisions for backend products and services.
• Design, develop, implement, and test reliable backend solutions using Python and Django.
• Build new product features and integrations with payment methods and data providers.
• Develop automated communication systems and risk management capabilities.
• Monitor production systems for stability and reliability and optimize performance.
• Own tasks from development through delivery and ensure timely completion.
• Decompose complex requirements into manageable technical tasks.
