Job summary

HRM Search Partners is seeking a Purchasing Manager for its Dublin base to lead the Purchasing Team and ensure optimal stock availability across the business. You will drive stock planning, supplier management and the development of purchasing policies, controls and SAP-based processes.

In this senior role you will partner with commercial, warehouse and logistics teams to maintain product availability, improve stock turn and reduce aged inventory, while delivering continuous improvements across

Qualifications

• Stock planning, forecasting and inventory controls.
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation capability.
• Experience leading purchasing/procurement teams.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems in a purchasing function.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the Purchasing Team.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage stock levels.
• Forecast future requirements in line with commercial demand.
• Review stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Improve stock turn and reduce aged inventory.
• Drive SAP usage, controls and reporting within Purchasing.
• Coordinate with commercial, warehouse and logistics teams to maintain product availability.
• Manage supplier deliveries and discrepancies between PO and received stock.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across Purchasing.
• Support product development activity and supplier engagement as required.
