Job summary

Repligen in Waterford, Ireland, seeks a Senior Process Technician to join a fast-paced team spanning R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering. You will build, assemble, and test prototypes, support process development and technology transfer activities from lab-scale to production readiness.

You will analyze test results, document outcomes, and help develop robust manufacturing processes for new products, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• Technical qualification Level 6 in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or Process Engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, engineering, R&D or product development.
• Experience assembling mechanical, fluid handling, or electromechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical docs, and assembly instructions.
• Experience with testing, validation or qualification activities.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and inspect prototypes, pilot units, and pre-production products.
• Manufacture and mold prototype silicone components for development.
• Support NPD by identifying manufacturability and design improvements.
• Develop prototypes, fixtures, and test equipment with R&D.
• Execute verification, validation, and qualification testing.
• Analyze results, investigate issues, and support root cause actions.
• Assist in process characterization and development of robust processes.
• Support technology transfer from R&D into manufacturing and prepare work instructions.
• Operate and maintain lab, workshop, and manufacturing equipment safely.
• Maintain build records, test documentation, and traceability; ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
