Job summary

Catalyx is hiring a (Sr.) Project Scheduling & Controls Consultant to join our team on a customer site in Cork. You will establish integrated schedules, forecast demand, and deliver governance reporting across the Technical Agenda portfolio.

The role requires PMP certification, strong MS Project/Planview experience, and a track record of delivering scheduling excellence in regulated environments. On-site work in Cork is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering project scheduling and project controls across technical or operational portfolios.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Project, Planview and/or other enterprise scheduling software.
• Significant experience supporting operational and technical development project portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver resource forecasting, capacity planning and demand analysis.
• Experience developing portfolio reporting, governance frameworks and project controls methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including schedule risk and impact analysis.
• Proven ability to present project controls insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in project controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise integrated project schedules across the portfolio.
• Deliver planning, scheduling and project controls services using MS Project, Planview and other tools.
• Produce maintenance of project schedules, milestone plans, dependencies and critical path analyses.
• Deliver resource capacity vs demand forecasting and utilisation analysis.
• Generate schedule performance reporting including Actual vs Planned analyses and S-curve.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and identify mitigation opportunities.
• Develop governance reporting packs and portfolio dashboards.
• Maintain project controls standards, templates and reporting processes.
• Provide schedule optimisation recommendations to improve execution.
• Maintain portfolio risk and dependency registers and assess impacts.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
