Project Planners & Senior Planners | Dublin | Tier One Main Contractor

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of one of Ireland's leading Tier One Main Contractors for a number of Project Planner and Senior Planner positions across several large-scale projects throughout Dublin.

With a substantial pipeline of work secured for the coming years, this contractor is delivering some of the country's most significant projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, pharmaceutical, education and data centre sectors.

These roles will suit planners with experience working for main contractors or large specialist contractors who are looking to join a highly respected organisation offering long-term career progression and exposure to complex, high-value projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6
• Working closely with project and site management teams to establish programme strategy and sequencing
• Monitoring progress against baseline programmes and identifying potential risks and delays
• Producing programme updates, look-ahead schedules and progress reports
• Supporting tender planning and pre‑construction activities where required
• Conducting programme analysis and assessing the impact of variations and change events
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

Project Planner

• Typically 3+ years' planning experience within construction
• Experience on medium to large-scale building projects
• Strong Primavera P6 and/or MS Project capability

Senior Planner

• Typically 7+ years' planning experience
• Proven track record delivering major construction projects with a main contractor
• Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge
• Ability to lead planning functions across complex projects and support junior team members
