Reporting to the Projects & Engineering Manager you will lead a team of project, process, and mechanical engineers, coordinating with quality & production departments to ensure high-quality, technical process solutions

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in similar role in related industry.
• Mechanical/Process engineering experience, ideally in pharma/biotech.
• Knowledge of design, procurement, construction, testing and project documentation.

With operations across North Cork, Pennsylvania, and Milan, the organisation has recently experienced significant global growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions. Reporting to the Projects & Engineering Manager you will play a pivotal part in delivering projects to our wide range of customers. You will work with the Projects & Engineering team along with interacting with quality & production departments ensuring we deliver high-quality, technical process solutions to our customers. Responsibilities: Lead a team of project, process, and mechanical engineers. Work closely with clients to meet & manage customer expectations. Responsible for design, procurement, construction, and testing activities during the project. Work closely with and drive internal teams to deliver on their specific project objective. Ensure that the system is delivered on time, within budget, to specification and meeting the highest standards of quality. Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors in satisfying our customers expectations. A close focus on the commercial effect of project decisions will be important. Monitor and report on project progress and identify and manage any risks to the projects schedule or commercial objectives. Review and analyse client specifications in terms of Companys quotation, scope of supply and commercial items; Review & Manage P&IDs and control changes. Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation. Approval of Purchase Requisition Forms for Project Equipment and Components. Performing Design Reviews with client/production/mechanical Eng department. Generating & Maintaining Project Database and control of Project Documentation. Inspecting the mechanical build as it progresses. Facilitate project communications and reports. Assisting with Incoming Inspection of Project Equipment and Components. Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met. FAT and Commissioning Support for Projects. Requirements: 5 years experience in similar role in related industry. BEng in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, Chemical Engineering or similar.
