Job summary

NexVentur group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of major construction projects across North Leinster, North Dublin and areas north of the M50, including Grangegorman and Navan.

The role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing programmes, procurement and client liaison, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery of hotel, residential and heritage refurbishment projects in Meath and surrounding region.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Proven experience delivering large and complex construction projects.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take senior responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
• Lead project and site management teams.
• Manage programmes, resources, procurement and project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, architects and engineers.
• Monitor programme, quality, costs and overall project performance.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
• Manage design development and technical issues.
• Identify and resolve programme and construction issues.
• Manage project risks, variations and delays.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality and Health & Safety standards.
• Liaise with clients and key project stakeholders.

Job description

An experienced Senior Project Manager is required to oversee a portfolio of major projects across North Leinster, North Dublin and areas north of the M50.

The role will involve responsibility for a number of live and upcoming developments, including projects in Grangegorman and Navan, as well as further projects throughout the region.

A key project is the Hotel development in Meath, involving the refurbishment of the existing protected structure together with substantial new-build hotel accommodation and associated facilities.

The development includes hotel accommodation, extensions, restaurant and back-of-house facilities, spa and leisure areas, plant facilities, external works and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Take senior responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of construction programming and sequencing.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards and Health & Safety requirements.
• Full driving licence.

Experience in hotel, residential, refurbishment, heritage/protected structures, commercial or public-sector projects would be advantageous.
