Job summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Global QARA at Teleflex leads complex, global transition projects aligning with TSA timelines and subsequent integration into Intersurgical.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Science, or related field preferred)
• 3-5+ years of experience leading complex, global projects in regulated environments
• Medical Device industry experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional, multi-region projects

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers for assigned projects.
• Coordinate QARA activities required to separate from Teleflex systems, processes, and governance for assigned projects.
• Define and communicate project resource requirements and negotiate with functional managers and senior management to obtain resources necessary to support assigned projects.
• Monitor project budgets, directing the efficient use of resources to effectively complete projects.
• Provide clear status reporting, issue escalation, and decision support to QARA and executive leadership.
• Facilitate alignment across Quality, Regulatory, Operations, IT, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build trust-based relationships to enable effective collaboration across organizational boundaries.
• Cultivate a high-performing work team culture among project core teams.

Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Global QARA is responsible for establishing, leading, and coordinating assigned projects in the QARA separation program from Teleflex, aligned with Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) timelines and subsequent integration project(s) into Intersurgical. This role must partner and align with Teleflex’s global divestiture project (AKA: Lotus), and subsequently with Intersurgical’s integration program. This role is critical in ensuring structured planning, disciplined execution, transparent communication, and effective stakeholder alignment across two organizations during a complex global transition.

Project Management and Governance

• Establish and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers for assigned projects.
• Coordinate QARA activities required to separate from Teleflex systems, processes, and governance for assigned projects.

• Identify and support or drive continuous improvements to the QARA PMO.
• Host workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to develop desired future state and establish detailed project plans.
• Lead or support additional local or global projects, including CAPA and PMO, as assigned by QARA Leadership.

Communication & Change Enablement

• Drive clear, consistent communication across global QARA teams regarding timelines, expectations, and progress.
• Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new roles, systems, processes, and governance models.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Science, or related field preferred)
• 3-5+ years of experience leading complex, global projects in regulated environments
• Medical Device industry experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional, multi-region projects
• Proven ability to operate effectively in matrixed and transitional organizational environments

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of electronic project management tools, e.g., Smartsheet or Microsoft Project, or the ability to quickly on-board to the use of new electronic systems
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organizational, planning, and risk management capabilities
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, preferred
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, preferred

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 25%. Overnight domestic and/or international travel may be required.
