Teleflex is a global medical technologies company seeking a Business Analyst to join the Transport Control Tower on a hybrid basis in Ireland. The role focuses on analytics, data modelling, dashboards, and KPI reporting to support Global Transport strategies and decision-making.

You will import, clean, transform and model data, validate processes, build supplier engagement dashboards, and apply statistical techniques to identify trends. SAP/SAP BW, SQL and BI tools are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Analytics.
• Ability to liaise across functions and navigate multi-layered data structures.
• Experience supporting web-based applications in quality, logistics, or supply chain.
• Background in Business Process Engineering methods.
• Minimum 3 years SAP, SAP BW, strong SQL skills, and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Systems thinker who can visualise data for varied audiences with strong communication.
• Transformational Change or Project Admin experience is desirable.
• Prior analytics work in L&D or Supply Chain is advantageous.

Position Summary

Join our Transport Control Tower team in a pivotal role that drives the development and delivery of analytics and insights to support Global Transport strategies and decision-making process. With the use of creative analytic tools, models and in-depth data analytics experience, this position will provide a fact based/objective point of view and recommendations based on insights generated from analysis. It will also comprise of the structured generation of reports for KPIs, scorecards and ad hoc analysis to support the continuous improvement of Control Tower and Global Transport operations.

• Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modelling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.
• Analysing and validation of data, supporting new Control Tower solution deployments to reduce/eliminate process and data errors and that enable seamless go-live(s)
• Interrogate existing Control Tower process inefficiencies, propose and implement improved business solutions
• Design and build dashboards for interpreting data and build views that identify, categorize and track transport event/milestone exceptions.
• Develop Supplier engagement dashboards with KPIs, that measure and track supplier performance over time
• Analysing data and applying statistical techniques to detect and interpret patterns and trends, assess data quality and eliminate irrelevant data.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Degree, preferably a Postgrad with background in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematical Sciences or Business Analytics / Information.
• Ability to liaise across functions & navigate multi –layered / multi-system data structures.
• Experience of providing administrative support for web-based applications in quality or logistics or supply chain or transport.
• Background in / Experience of Business Process Engineering methods.
• Minimum 3 Years SAP, SAP BW, strong SQL skills, & experience with visualisation software such as Tableau or Power BI
• This role requires a Systems Thinker who can visualise data in its process flow & depict it visually to variable audiences. This requires a strong mix of sufficient technical ability coupled with creativity & excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Transformational Change / Project Admin or Support Experience desirable.
• Advantageous would be previous analytical work in L&D or Supply Chain.
