Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for HPC developments in Ireland. The role focuses on planning and executing development projects to deliver leading-edge products, leveraging a seasoned background in engineering and project management.

You will lead cross-functional teams, Mentor engineers, and ensure projects stay on time, within scope, and within budget, contributing to Synopsys' innovation leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management or engineering leadership.
• Background in ASIC design/verification/implementation, preferably digital.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resources, and risk management.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders.
• Represent R&D on customer relationships and mentor team members.
