Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in Cork, Ireland and other EU locations seeks a Senior Principal Digital Implementation Engineer to lead complex silicon programs from RTL to GDSII and signoff. You will drive aggressive PPA objectives and collaborate with R&D to push tool development for advanced-node designs.

The role requires deep silicon implementation expertise, leadership capabilities and strong English communication to influence customers, partners, and the European PSG team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of semiconductor engineering experience.
• Proven tape-out experience on advanced process nodes.
• Experience with CPUs/GPUs/AI accelerators or high-performance SoCs.
• Excellent technical communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for complex silicon programs from synthesis to tapeout.
• Develop and deploy advanced methodologies to optimize power, performance and area.
• Collaborate with Cadence R&D to influence tool development and product enhancements.
• Mentor and develop implementation engineers and present results to leadership and customers.
