Cpl Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deliver production-ready HPC/EDA components with a strong focus on performance and scalability. You will optimize multi-threaded and distributed code, guiding architecture decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, networking concepts, and modern IPC, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days onsite weekly in Ireland's Munster region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Significant C++/C experience with high-performance, distributed systems.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with distributed systems and IPC (gRPC, MPI).
• Linux proficiency, scripting (Bash, Python), Git experience.
• Fluent English, excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of production-ready HPC/EDA components.
• Optimize performance across multi-threaded and distributed systems.
• Architect robust, scalable distributed software solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, product engineers and teams.
