Job summary

Enexa Partners is partnering with a client responsible for Ireland’s Electricity Grid. They seek Senior Lead Project Engineers to join the Infrastructure teams in Dublin, in a hybrid setup, to deliver critical connection projects and PMO support.

The role involves managing large-scale infrastructure delivery across the project life cycle, from initiation through construction to handover, with governance, budgets, and stakeholder engagement at the core.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with 6 years' plus experience in the Power Industry.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of medium to large infrastructure projects from initiation to close.
• Manage budgets, schedules and governance to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Coordinate with clients, partners and internal teams to meet project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements across projects.

The Opportunity

They are seeking Senior Lead Project Engineers to join their Infrastructure teams - Connection Projects, Network Projects (Dublin/Ireland),and PMO.

This is an exciting opportunity for a resilient and motivated individual who is interested in working with the Infrastructure Delivery team to deliver key infrastructure projects for some of the biggest companies in the world.

The successful candidate will be involved with the Project Management of Large-Scale Infrastructure Projects – on-time and within budget, respecting established governance and controls. The role holder will work on projects across their Entire Life Cycle – from Project Initiation, through Construction and Commissioning and right up to project close.

The Team

The Chief Infrastructure Office is responsible for new 400 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV station and circuit projects as well as upgrade and refurbishment projects on the existing network.

Managing these projects from Conceptual Phase, through Feasibility, Statutory Planning Assessment and Consent to Handover for Detailed Design and Construction Phase.

Your role in the team will be to take responsibility for the delivery of a range of medium to large infrastructure projects to approved Schedule, Budget, and Quality requirements. This role will involve a combination of office-based working and site visits to both existing and New Substations and Transmission Circuit Sites

About you / Successful candidates will have: Engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 6 years relevant experience with a holistic understanding of the Power Industry.

Proven experience of managing a portfolio of largescale projects – overseeing the delivery of complex solutions and an ability to drive successful outcomes.

Passionate, engaging with a drive and enthusiasm to deliver on the company Strategy with and through others.

Excellent communicator, able to articulate Technical Concepts and Analysis to non-technical audiences and business leaders. Ability to coach and develop high performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environment.

Strong understanding of the requirements of stakeholders and industry for the Transmission System and associated developments.
