Job summary

Dexcom Corporation in Ireland is hiring for a production operator to support the manufacture of medical devices. You will operate automated and robotic assembly lines, perform routine handling and quality checks, and maintain documentation in a GMP environment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and strong communication with team members. Training and cross-training opportunities are available in a safety‑conscious, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or Level 5 equivalent)
• 4–6 years medical device or cleanroom manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and computer literacy
• Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• High dexterity and consistency required
• Training/knowledge transfer skills required

Responsibilities

• Set up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product.
• Carry out routine manual tasks such as handling components, loading materials, and supporting assembly processes as required.
• Perform material handling, inspections, quality checks, and data entry.
• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in key areas.
• Train new associates and support cross‑training programmes.
• Support line leads and supervisors with communication, updates, and coaching.
• Compliance to all quality procedures; flag if any deviation noted.
• Completion and maintenance of quality documentation as required for the manufacture of Medical devices (GMP requirements).
• Comply with all safety requirements and operate in a safe manner.
• Build strong working relationships that encourage teamwork and shared success.
