Job summary

Sim Local is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the UI/UX behind its D2C website and mobile app. You will transform roadmap ideas into concepts, prototypes and shipped experiences, with emphasis on new D2C journeys and select internal platform work.

You’ll collaborate across Marketing, Commercial and Development, reporting to the Head of Product and Engineering. This senior role demands strong ownership, research-grounded design decisions, and close partnership with developers to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer / UI/UX Designer with end-to-end ownership.
• E-commerce or consumer app experience with conversion-focused UX.
• Mobile app design experience and knowledge of iOS/Android patterns.
• Proficient in Figma for wireframes, prototypes and component libraries.
• Strong research methods: customer research, journey mapping, competitive findings.
• Able to turn a loosely defined roadmap item into a concrete concept.
• Excellent communicator and able to align stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of new D2C journeys across website and mobile app.
• Translate roadmap into design initiatives; contribute ideas and rationale.
• Conduct customer research to ground concepts in real needs.
• Build journey maps to identify friction and opportunities.
• Run competitor analysis to benchmark D2C experiences.
• Prototype concepts and validate with stakeholders before build.
• Present concepts and rationale to leadership, async or in person.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape product direction and strategy.
• Work with Marketing, Commercial and Development to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Partner with developers through build and QA to ensure design intent.
