Job summary

Accelcia Business Services is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to manage procurement, planning, and inventory levels for our electronics manufacturing operations. You will maintain supplier relationships, issue purchase orders, and forecast material needs to support internal customers.

The role requires strong ERP experience, 5–7 years in manufacturing, and excellent negotiation and planning skills. On-site position with comprehensive health benefits and pension support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 3–5 years planning experience.
• IIPMM/APICS certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders to supply base based on actual needs.
• Ensure best price is reflected in the ERP system.
• Maintain purchasing database accuracy.
• Schedule material from supply base daily.
• Issue forecasts on defined frequency/format.
• Distribute supplier reports per schedule.
• Coordinate supply information within agreed timeframes.
• Return non-conforming material within 24 hours of disposition.
• Schedule re-work to optimize inventory availability.
• Reduce excess/obsolete inventory where possible.
• Track on-time delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Reschedule orders to minimize inventory.
• Lead daily production meetings with internal customers.
• Meet individual performance goals.
• Drive supplier meetings on agreed schedule.
• Develop clear production schedules aligned to demand and lot size.
• Ensure lot size traceability across full supply chain.
• Support inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts.
• Provide inter-departmental cover and support.
• Take on additional duties/projects as assigned by line manager.
