Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, invites an experienced Lead Designer Process Piping to join our Cork office. You will lead conceptual and detailed piping design across multiple pharmaceutical projects, focusing on GMP process systems and clean utilities.

You will create 3D models and 2D layouts, select piping components, coordinate with vendors, and ensure drawings reflect design intent while maintaining quality across disciplines, mentoring others as needed.

Qualifications

• 15 years of design experience in piping projects.
• Experience with GMP process piping preferable.
• Proven ability to produce 3D and 2D piping layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed piping design for multiple projects.
• Create 3D models and 2D layout drawings of piping and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for components and information.
• Ensure design quality and document coordination across disciplines.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in annual reviews where applicable.
