Job summary

Arcadis DPS Group is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to manage the process design team from our Dublin or Cork offices. You will shape production processes, drive plant improvements, and deliver compliant, safe, and efficient designs for pharmaceutical and life science projects across Ireland and Europe.

Reporting to the Process Dept Manager, you will mentor engineers, lead multi-disciplinary design activities, ensure adherence to codes, and foster continuous improvement while delivering

Qualifications

• Higher technical degree in Industrial, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a process engineer in design consultancy or Food/Pharmaceuticals/GMP manufacturing environments, including experience as a Design Process Lead on projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines, A&E teams, vendors, and system owners.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with process design tools and related software.

Responsibilities

• Shape project success by scoping new projects and defining process engineering deliverables with clients and project teams.
• Lead the implementation of process designs, delivering PFDs, P&IDs, process reports, calculations, and equipment specifications on time and within budget.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget with clear documentation and risk mitigation.
• Engage with clients to build strong relationships and develop future projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and Arcadis offices to integrate process inputs throughout design.
