Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision in Limerick, Ireland, seeks a Process Engineer to join our production Value Stream. The role focuses on process improvement, technical support for complex manufacturing challenges, and internal product transfers across sites.

The ideal candidate has a Level 8 degree and 7+ years in manufacturing, with strong skills in DOE, CP Analysis, and FPx/Lean approaches. An opportunity for growth within a global healthcare leader awaits.

Qualifications

Minimum a Level 8. B.Sc. or B.Eng. honours degree qualification in Physics/Chemistry/Biological Science or Mechanical/Material/Process Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering results.
Minimum of seven years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership within a production value stream with ownership of process improvement and reliability activities.
Complete process characterization, challenge testing, capability and stability runs to qualify new products and processes.
Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and overall equipment effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process quality issues using data-driven decisions.
Lead process redesign projects from concept to qualification of new equipment and processes.
