Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Chemistry) to support the start-up of its first European manufacturing site in Athenry. You will lead DOE execution, build SME knowledge on CQAs/CPPs/CMAs, and develop analytical test methods for raw materials and finished products.

The role requires strong data analysis, root cause investigation, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, Software and other teams to implement new processes and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field; 5–8 years experience or a Master’s with 2–5 years
• Experience with DOE, statistics, data visualization, root cause analysis, or JMP/Minitab/Python/Excel preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead DOE execution in manufacturing processes
• Develop SME knowledge on CQAs, CPPs and CMAs
• Work on analytical test method development for raw material and finished product
• Compile, trend, and evaluate test data to define process limits
• Prepare technical documentation including protocols, reports, procedures, and risk inputs
• Troubleshoot equipment, materials, processes, or product line issues
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, Software and other engineering teams
• Participate in design and process reviews, investigations, and continuous improvement
